The goal for this entertainers kitchen was to attain a sense of elegance and glamour that would work in harmony with the Art Deco architectural details of the home.
Carefully planned wall panelling surrounds inward opening doors that reveal a small hidden butlers pantry off the kitchen. Integrated appliances make the space feel spacious and uncluttered.
The layout of the kitchen is simple, functional and spacious allowing entertainers and guests to mingle and move easily between the kitchen, lounge and dining areas. The dining area cabinetry provides storage for napery and doubles as a bar. Flashes of gold encapsulates the glamour of the Hollywood Regency era.
This kitchen design earned our designer Anne Ellard, a spot in the final of KBDI’s 2020 Designer Awards.
